Review of Aa Dekhein zara

http://salah4u.blogspot.com/
With movies like ‘13B’, ‘Aa Dekhen Zara’ and the upcoming ‘8X10 Tasveer,’ it seems Bollywood has been bitten by the science fiction and supernatural bug leading to a series of flicks based on the paranormal experiences. Post ‘13B’, its turn of Jehangir Surti’s ‘Aa Dekhen Zara’ starring Neil Nitin Mukesh and Bipasha Basu
is a racy thriller that revolves around a camera that has the ability to capture future in its images.

With not much work in hand, Ray spends his time talking to pigeons or watching Simi – a svelte next door DJ as a voyeur. In one such moment, Ray clicks Simi’s picture with his old camera only to find her photo depicting her being shot down in a bar!

This newfound mystery gives a new twist to an otherwise droning life of Ray where he gets into some real action in order to save the life of his love. Indeed, the camera is not just used to save Simi’s life as Ray plans of raking millions by picturing race horses and lottery tickets in order to predict their future. With his almost ‘magical’ camera, it does not take too long for the baddies to know his whereabouts and hunt for his supernatural camera.

Ray’s problems does not end here as he has to save himself from shooter (Rahul Dev) and fraud RAW agents in Bangkok but also escape his own future as portrayed by the camera!

Telugu Panchangam

Telugu Panchangam

According to the Panchangam - Hindu Vedic Calendar, there are 60 years, each having a name for itself. The name also has a meaning and suggests what is in store for us in that year.
The year PRAMADHI, that has just concluded, means wrong or mistakes. It is likely that many wrong events may have happened during the year.
The ensuing year, VIKRAMA, means chivalry or valour. This year will offer many opportunities to undo the wrong doings of the previous year.
Why do we read the Panchangam on new year day?
On the new year day the Panchangam is read to learn about what the ensuing year has in store for us. The Panchangam essentially consists of five parts of the day, viz., the name of the day, the tithi of the day, the star of the day, the yogam of the day, and the karanam of the day.
Starting any new venture on the appropriate tithi will fetch iswaryam (lots of wealth and prosperity) for the person. Similarly, any deed done on the right day of the week will enhance the longevity, ie the life span of the person will increase.
Any deed done on a day with a good and beneficial star will alleviate the papams (ill effects because of ill deeds).
When one does a deed at a time with good and beneficial yogam then that will help all diseases to disappear.
Lastly a deed done during the good and beneficial karanam will help the person to achieve the objective of the deed without any hurdles and impediments.
Therefore it is very important to start any new venture or deed at the appropriate time. The good time is learnt with the help of the Panchangam

The series gave an insight into the lives of the brave men who patrol and protect the country through seven episodes. With this initiative, Nat Geo provided five civilians, including three women, the unique opportunity to be a part of the Navy, training and imbuing them with the courage, grit and determination. Only five people were selected for the mission after a series of physical and mental tests - Chaitanya Datla,Sakshi Havanoor, Suranjani H R, Arjun R Sheetyand Sudhanshu Budakoty. Chaitanya Datla, along with the other finalists, got the opportunity to be a part of the Indian Navy for over a month. It all started from being introduced to Academy life and undergoing basic training to setting their first step ever on board an Indian Naval ship. She not only got to learn the science behind the submarines and other warships but was also trained in beaching operations, got to perform the difficult jack stay and underwent a G-Force test, amongst other tasks.

Gudi Padwa Greetings

http://salah4u.blogspot.com/Greeting card is just a small piece of paper printed or hand painted or handcrafted with printed or handwritten message to convey your feelings to someone. Nowadays there are so many ways we can express ourselves, our feelings to someone such as a SMS, an email massage, an ecard, a fax message or just a telephone/cell phone. But still Greeting cards are being used for this purpose. Some people think to such an extent that why to spend money and time in purchasing and sending aGreeting card, instead why not send a SMS, so cheap and time saving option!!!

Nowadays what matters in every field is the presentation. Greetings card is also one of the means of presenting your feelings. I would say that the Greeting card is an esthetic looking packing of your feelings/expressions so that the recipient feels delighted and honoured.

Recently in Bharat New Year is being celebrated on 1st January as per the Western calendar. Celebration on the eve of the Western New Year includes a lot of malpractices like indulging in eve teasing after drinking, etc. So, instead of beginning the New Year on an auspicious note it begins unpleasantly. To ensure that the beginning of the new year begins on an auspicious note celebrate it according to the Hindu scriptures, on Chaitra Shuddha Pratipada as per the Hindu lunar calendar, as this date is glorious in all ways - as per the cycle of Nature and it also has historical and spiritual significance. All this contributes to endowing the one celebrating it as per the Hindu scriptures with several benefits. It is the duty of each individual to arrest the loss being caused to the society by emulating the Westerners.

Mohanlal's Adventure

Mohanlal Vishwanathan Nair (Malayalam: മോഹന്‍ലാല്‍ വിശ്വനാഥന്‍ നായര്‍) (born May 21, 1960), commonly known as Mohanlal or Lal, is an Indian film actor and producer, who works mainly in Malayalam cinema. A four-time National Award winner, Lal is famous for his versatility and natural acting style. Mohanlal is best known for his movie roles of the late 80s and early 90s. His most notable roles include Solomon in Namukku Parkkan Munthiri Thoppukal, Dasan in Nadodikkattu, Jayakrishnan in Thoovanathumbikal, Vishnu in Chithram, Sethu Madhavan in Kireedam, Gopi in Bharatham, Mangalassery Neelakandan in Devasuram, Anand in Iruvar, Kunhikuttan in Vanaprastham, and Thomas "Aadu Thoma" Chacko in Spadikam.

Early years (1978-1985)

Lal's first film was "Thiranottam" (1978). The film ran into trouble with the Censor Board and was never released. The breakthrough came in 1980 at the age of 20, when he was selected for the role of the antagonist in Manjil Virinja Pookkal. He had no dearth of opportunities thereafter and he played roles of gradually increasing importance in a number of movies in the following years. In the year 1983 he had to his credit more than 25 feature films. His performance in Uyarangalil, a story of cheating and deception, written by the noted novelist and script-writer M. T. Vasudevan Nair and directed by I. V. Sasi, was critically acclaimed. He then took up a comic role in his director-friend and college mate Priyadarshan's debut Poochakkoru Mookkuthi.

Mohanlal was born in Pathanamthitta in Kerala to Mr. Vishwanathan Nair, a government employee, and Mrs. Santhakumari. He grew up at Mudavanmugal, Poojappura in Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum), as his father was employed in the Kerala Government Secretariat in the legal department. He attended the local school at Mudavanmugal and later enrolled into the Govt. Model Higher Secondary School, Thiruvananthapuram. An average student at school, he took to acting very early in life, when he used to participate in school-plays. In the sixth grade, young Mohanlal was chosen the best actor in school, an award that was usually bagged by tenth graders.

After schooling, he joined Mahatma Gandhi College, Thiruvanathapuram (Under Kerala University) for his bachelors degree. He continued his association with acting and won numerous best actor awards[3]. Here he met a group of fellow-students who were passionate about theatre and feature films[citation needed]. They were instrumental in getting him his first breakthrough in film, and some of them, notably Priyadarshan and Manian Pilla Raju, went on to become popular movie directors and actors.

GOOGLE VOICE
Who gives their home phone a second thought these days? Cellular is where it's at: Mobile phones are personal and move with us; they carry our identities. The old, wired "landline" phones tie us down. But while anchored to the past, innovation for the home telephone is not dead. Two giant companies have new and interesting products for consumers that redefine what you can do with a home telephone. One is very smart.
Google Voice is the search company's interesting and powerful new telephone service. Based on Grand Central, which Google acquired in 2007, it might make you re-think the utility of your landline home phone. Google Voice is, essentially, a telephone phone service without its own telephone connections. When you sign up for Google Voice and get a new number for the service (in your own local area code), it lets people call you and leave messages, which you can listen to on your computer, on your personal Google Voice Web page. And once you tell Google Voice where you want to be contacted by voice, it will start automatically routing incoming calls to any phones you want. You can have your Google Voice number redirected to your home phone or your mobile phone or your work phone -- or all at once. You can tell Google Voice that people calling from your group of friends always reach your mobile, or that certain family members never reach you at work. You also get an SMS (text message) inbox for your number. Messages can get forwarded to your mobile phone if you like, and you can reply to them there, or you can see and send messages via your Web-connected computer.

Celebrating ugadi Festival
We eat neem flowers mixed with jaggery on New Year’s day to remind us of the bitter and sweet flavours that co-exist in life,” declared Gundu Rao, one of my favourite ‘uncles’, as he tugged affectionately at my plait. “Come tomorrow and taste some!” Never having ever eaten neem flowers, I screwed up my face at the thought, quite relieved that in my family we had no such custom. The next day, I hid from him. His words, however, made a deep impact on me as a 10-year-old, and I never forgot them.Tender flowers, jaggery freshly obtained from the harvest of sugarcane, nascent green mangoes, young tamarind pods, the very things that make up the Ugadi pachadi burst into existence in this season and herald the coming of spring. These ingredients, perishable, short-lived, combine year after year to create something eternal and deeply symbolic, the readiness of human beings to accept and ride out the ups and downs of life. It is also true that most events, even those of a terrible nature, do not recur in our lives and these flowers and fruit, newly come into existence, serve as a visual reminder that the crises and joys of yesteryears are transient too.If the mixture is a symbolic blending of six different flavours, equally symbolic is the fact that everyone present in the home tastes it, including the Gods. By the very act of tasting, than voluntarily swallowing it, one makes it a part of oneself. Food is the tactile bridge between our lives and the world around. It is through food that we find connections, both to the world outside and the inner world that we carry encapsulated within us wherever we travel. The Taj Mahal (pronounced /tɑdʒ mə'hɑl/ ---- Hindi: ताज महल; Persian/Urdu: تاج محل) is a mausoleum located in Agra, India, built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal.

The Taj Mahal (also "The Taj Mahal") is considered the finest example of Mughal architecture, a style that combines elements from Persian, Ottoman, Indian, and Islamic architectural styles. In 1983, the Taj Mahal became a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was cited as "the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage."

While the white domed marble mausoleum is its most familiar component, The Taj Mahal is actually an integrated complex of structures. Building began around 1632 and was completed around 1653, and employed thousands of artisans and craftsmen. The Persianarchitect, Ustad Ahmad Lahauri is generally considered to be the principal designer of the Taj Mahal.
Contents
The focus of the The Taj Mahal is the white marble tomb, which stands on a square plinth consisting of a symmetrical building with an iwan, an arch-shaped doorway, topped by a large dome. Like most Mughal tombs, basic elements are Persian in origin.
The base of the Taj is a large, multi-chambered structure

The base structure is a large, multi-chambered structure. The base is essentially a cube with chamfered edges and is roughly 55 meters on each side (see floor plan, right). On the long sides, a massive pishtaq, or vaulted archway, frames the iwan with a similar arch-shaped balcony.

On either side of the main arch, additional pishtaqs are stacked above and below. This motif of stacked pishtaqs is replicated on chamfered corner areas as well. The design is completely symmetrical on all sides of the building. Four minarets, one at each corner of the plinth, facing the chamfered corners, frame the tomb. The main chamber houses the false sarcophagi of The Taj Mahal and Shah Jahan; their actual graves are at a lower level.

The marble dome that surmounts the tomb is its most spectacular feature. Its height is about the same size as the base of the building, about 35 meters, and is accentuated as it sits on a cylindrical "drum" of about 7 metres high. Because of its shape, the dome is often called an onion dome (also called an amrud or guava dome). The top is decorated with a lotus design, which serves to accentuate its height as well. The shape of the dome is emphasised by four smaller domed chattris (kiosks) placed at its corners. The chattri domes replicate the onion shape of the main dome. Their columned bases open through the roof of the tomb and provide light to the interior. Tall decorative spires (guldastas) extend from edges of base walls, and provide visual emphasis to the height of the dome. The lotus motif is repeated on both the chattris and guldastas. The dome and chattris are topped by a gilded finial, which mixes traditional Persian and Hindu decorative elements.

RANBIR KAPOOR

Ranbir kapoor

MP milind Deora's older brother mukul, karan johar and tarun mansukhani are working on a video featuring india's youth to vote. The video will star kareena kapoor, john abraham , bipasha basu, ranbir kapoor , sonam kapoor, shahid kapoor, priyanka chopra, imran khan.
Imran is a young, conscientious actor who has these thoughts about urging the youth to vote. We do not intend gaining anything out of the video. Instead of blaming each other, we just thought it's a positive way of helping the country."
Most young people of today don't care about politics so the question was how do we make them vote? Even if 1 per cent of a 100 million voters vote because of the video we get a million new voters. The idea is to inspire the youth and others to step out and vote." Though Mukul has political affiliations because of his brother Milind and dad Murli (both belong to the Congress) he assures us that the video won't have any political connotations.
