Gudi Padwa Greetings

http://salah4u.blogspot.com/Greeting card is just a small piece of paper printed or hand painted or handcrafted with printed or handwritten message to convey your feelings to someone. Nowadays there are so many ways we can express ourselves, our feelings to someone such as a SMS, an email massage, an ecard, a fax message or just a telephone/cell phone. But still Greeting cards are being used for this purpose. Some people think to such an extent that why to spend money and time in purchasing and sending aGreeting card, instead why not send a SMS, so cheap and time saving option!!!

Nowadays what matters in every field is the presentation. Greetings card is also one of the means of presenting your feelings. I would say that the Greeting card is an esthetic looking packing of your feelings/expressions so that the recipient feels delighted and honoured.

Recently in Bharat New Year is being celebrated on 1st January as per the Western calendar. Celebration on the eve of the Western New Year includes a lot of malpractices like indulging in eve teasing after drinking, etc. So, instead of beginning the New Year on an auspicious note it begins unpleasantly. To ensure that the beginning of the new year begins on an auspicious note celebrate it according to the Hindu scriptures, on Chaitra Shuddha Pratipada as per the Hindu lunar calendar, as this date is glorious in all ways - as per the cycle of Nature and it also has historical and spiritual significance. All this contributes to endowing the one celebrating it as per the Hindu scriptures with several benefits. It is the duty of each individual to arrest the loss being caused to the society by emulating the Westerners.
